Green was a member of the Empire's Elite Seven assassination group appearing in the Akame ga Kill! prequel series, Akame ga Kill! Zero.

Appearance[]

Green was a young man with black hair and green eyes. He wears a green jacket with a black T-shirt and black pants. His shoes are also black and he wears glasses. He wears a necklace with a gem around his neck.

Personality[]

Green was a serious and intelligent young man. He was usually calm and relied on strategy rather than brute force. This was shown in his first mission when he used trickery to efficiently kill his target. He was in love with Akame and occasionally tried to impress her. He was especially attracted to Akame's armpits and even got a nosebleed while looking at them during a mission.

Also, it can be noted that unlike the rest of the Elite Seven, Green also began to realize and become aware of the Empire's corruption and was not as blindingly faithful/loyal and trusting towards their adoptive father, Gozuki's teachings regarding its deterioration, as some of the other members of the Elite Seven (Tsukushi, Poney and Cornelia). However, despite having come to realize the truth, Green was pragmatic and intelligent enough to know that if he spoke out regarding these issues, he would most likely be killed by Gozuki or be turned on by the more loyal members of his own team and as such focused on surviving through their missions instead.

Due to this, Green found himself becoming Akame's primary confidant regarding these thoughts about the Empire, where he constantly warned her about the likely results if she spoke out about her doubts and would assist her by subtly reminding her to prioritize her own and her sister's safety first.

History[]

Green was one of the many children that were sold to the Empire. He was picked to be put through a test in order to select candidates for the Empire's assassins. He was ranked fifth among the candidates and got into the Elite Seven.

During his first mission, his target is physically very strong, but not very clever. Green uses this to his advantage by luring his target with a coin and hiding on a tree branch above it. He then effortlessly kills his target by hanging him on the tree with Sidewinder. Later, he is also involved in the assassination of Viceroy Ragiri along with the other members of the Elite Seven.

While he and the other male members of the Elite Seven wait near a hot spring, he admits to his fellow male teammates that he has feelings for Akame and a rather strange armpit fetish. He claims that he discovered his fetish when one day, he tried to wake Akame up and he was struck by what he described as a "weird feeling" and couldn't take off his eyes off her armpit. Ever since then, he states that he often tries to look at Akame's armpits.

Unfortunately for him, the group of his female teammates, including Akame, were eavesdropping on their conversation, which led to some of his teammates to think that he's "not so normal". Akame, now aware of his feelings for her, and is happy about it, but she only thinks of him as an important comrade.

During the fight with the Tengu Mercenaries, Green and his teammate Najasho were seen by Chelsea. Because he was ordered to go on standby by Gozuki. He was later attacked by Babara Oarburgh along with Najasho and Gai. Babara easily defeated three of them. They were saved by Gozuki, who killed Babara.

He then joins the mission to the Gravekeepers' tomb along with the other members of the Elite Seven. During the mission, he fights alongside Akame with unnamed gravekeepers. Thanks to teamwork between Akame and Green they could defeat stronger opponents. Later Green and Akame fight with Jamo and Weneg. During the battle, when Green began besting Jamo, the gravekeeper ran away. Green try to help Akame with Weneg. Unfortunately, Green wasn't able to help. After the battle, Green alongside other survivors from Elite Seven and Group of Terrors had to run away from collapsing tomb. After events in, Putra Elite Seven got new members, who replaced deceased Green's teammates.

Later, the Elite Seven was sent to the water capital of Sweun. While they were working, Green overheard Gin who confessed her feelings to Natala. Green decided that he as well should confess to Akame. After Green's conffesion Akame told him that for her he is her precious comrade.

During the first battle against Oarburgh clan, Green fought against Daniel. On the beginning Green tried to run away but decided to Daniel, meet-up point with other members of Elite Seven. To help Green came Poney and Tsukushi. Thanks to them they were able to kill Daniel.

When Elite Seven and Four Rakshasa Demons started last ambush on Oarburgh's hideout, Green helped to defeat remaining Oarburgh's members. After that he tried to catch up Akame who herself went after Merraid. After successfully ending the misson and confirming the destruction of the Oarburgh Clan, The Elite Seven came back to capital Where they where then given medical attention due to their hard fought battle against the Oarburghs, and where then later given training with Great General Budo.

Later upon being properly rested and recovering from their wounds and given further training, the Elite Seven members where then given their next misson where they were then deployed to to mt. White Hakuba, Where their new objective was to kill Suzaku and his bandit army, who had situated themselves in a well fortified fortress within the mountain due to them being suspected affiliates to the Revolution Army, However unknown to the them the Retribution Group who where all compromised of survivors of their previous enemies, had also joined up with the bandits in order to obtain vengeance against the Elite Seven. During their first battle, Green tried to take down Mudai, but he couldn't get to him because Mudai was under Najasho's protection. In the last battle with Retribution group, Green fought Mashiro, where Green initially held the advantage as he had managed to deprive Mashiro of her gun using a sneak attack. He then proceeds to wrap Sidewinder around Mashiro's neck and begin pulling it to snap her it. However, upon being cornered and watching Loris being slowly killed by Akame and realizing that they would be wiped out soon, Mashiro let out a guttural howl of rage and summoned an unexpected amount of power due to her hatred for the Elite Seven for Killing Kouga and her new comrades and proceeded to charge at Green by using Sidewinder to drag herself toward him,she then proceeded to disarm Green of his hand knife and put him in a choke hold where she then proceeded to twist and break his neck, killing him.

Upon Finishing off Lorris, Akame saw Green's lifeless body and rushed to his aid in hopes of saving him. However upon realizing that he was already dead, Akame proceeded to avenge him by killing Mashiro.

Green's death greatly affected his surviving teammates. Akame in particular continued to grieve for him greatly due to knowing how much he genuinely loved her and kept his glasses in momento of him.

Abilities & Equipment[]

As he was one of the top seven survivors of the harsh survival test employed by the Empire to select its assassins and place in the Elite Seven and being personally trained by Gozuki, Green possessed immense natural born combat potential that easily surpasses an average assassin, and like the rest of the Elite Seven displayed immense superhuman levels of strength, speed, endurance and durability that allowed him to easily slaughter and defeat seasoned veteran's on his first few mission on the field and due to being raised and due to being trained in the mountain wilderness hunting Danger Beasts, Green has displayed superhuman senses that allows him to easily detect enemies, despite them actively concealing themselves from him.

Green like the rest of the Elite Seven is immune or resistant to most poisons due to being raised in the wild.

Whip Fighting[]

Green's main form of combat employed during battles is using a whip to lash or entangle his opponents, with him possessing enough skill to easily overpower and defeat multiple opponents in battle and being able to exert enough physical strength to break his opponents neck's by wrapping his whip around their throats and being able to hang someone to death by stringing them up tree branches using his whip.

Shingu[]

Green like the rest of the Elite Seven was given a Shingu by Gozuki, the whip Sidewinder, that possessed the unique ability to be freely controlled and maneuvered by its user however they please. As seen when Green was able to swerve and alter the path of the whip midair in order to entangle an opponent in the opposite direction during the battle against the GraveKeepers. However, due to this unique characteristic, this also makes the whip itself difficult to use without proper experience and training.

Hand to Hand Combat[]

Green was also trained in hand to hand combat as seen during his training with General Budo.

Knife Fighting[]

Green was also trained on how to use a combat knife in close quarter battles, as he kept at least one knife in his pocket just in case he had to resort to fighting in close range should his whip be rendered ineffective. As seen during his battle against Mashiro, where he attempted to defend himself using it.
