Kill the Religious Organization (教団を斬る, Kyōdan o Kiru) is the fifteenth episode of the Akame ga Kill! anime.

Plot

Lubbock asks Tatsumi why he allowed Esdeath to come back to the mainland with him instead of leaving her on the island. However, Najenda responds that Esdeath would have escaped the island either way before revealing that she knows her personally. Meanwhile, Wave confronts Seryu about murdering three bandits who were suspected Night Raid members. She brushes him off, causing Wave to remark that the Capital is twisted, though he still maintains his loyalty as a soldier. Najenda tells Night Raid about Path of Peace, a pacifist religious organization that is inciting a religious insurrection that the Revolutionary Army and Night Raid plan to assist them with. The Revolutionary Army and an allied tribe will launch attacks against the Capital simultaneous to Path of Peace's uprising. Najenda assigns Night Raid to assassinate Bolic, the adviser to Path of Peace's founder and a spy for the prime minister. Bolic is also drugging several of the religion's followers into obedience. Najenda instructs Night Raid to kill the Jaegers, especially Kurome and Bols, who will undoubtedly respond. The next day, Mine comforts Akame when she begins expressing her doubts about battling Kurome. Meanwhile, Esdeath splits the Jaegers into two teams: she will attack Najenda with Seryu and Run, while Wave, Kurome, and Bols will pursue Akame. Wave's team arrives at a canyon and Mine fires a shot at Kurome, who manages to dodge it. Susanoo arrives and knocks Wave away, leaving Kurome and Bols to be confronted by the entire Night Raid team. Kurome activates her Imperial Arm known as Yatsufusa, bringing forth the last eight victims of its blade as Kurome's puppets. Among those summoned is a gigantic Danger Beast known as a Death Tagool. As Kurome wonders how many of the Imperial Arms users present will die, Night Raid prepares to battle Kurome's puppets.
