Ok, lets be honest here if leone never took any part in this tatsumi most likely would have joined the imperial army most likely never finding out how his friends die maybe finding out who killed them [akame] and depending on his loyalty to the army at that point and if nightraid knew he was in the army he may have ended up in nightraid again repeating some of these events but faster.
