Chelsea's and Tatsumi's deaths are both painful.
Agreed
I agreed. We know that Mine is not a bad character, even though she has a sour/sweet personality. However, Her and Tatsumi are not capable, let alone, have any chemistry for each other.
Chelsea last 5 eps. Tatsumi and Mine are forced.
Better than that forced couple in the manga, we know that!
I prefer Chelsea, too.
One of my friends told that they were forced to be couple material. On MyAnimeList. Besides, those two already have little to no chemistry of each other at all. Mine is not a bad character, we all know that now, but she's definitely not best girl at all. Tatsumi is better off with any girl, from Night Raid, that her.
It's so obvious that there's no season 2 or a remake of the series, whatsoever, no matter what anyone will say.
I recommend that I rather read another manga that is more popular than this, thank you very much. Besides, to you she's likeable, but still not best character/best girl in the series, whatever version she is in.
Mine is not a bad character, but she's definitely not the best either. Even so, I think Sheele should survived.
I can't see complaints about character deaths in the Akame Ga Kill manga as anything but irrelevant because that's what made it REAL. So many people are, and should be, tired of stories always working out and having happy endings. The writers only obligation is to tell the story, and you're just along for the ride. If a character dies, then that's just a part of the ride.
This manga covered such a high stakes, violent conflict that to me it would actually be a betrayal to the realism of the story if no beloved characters died. Revolutions like this don't happen without good people dying. In fact, the manga arguably had an "unrealistically" happy ending, despite so many characters dying. Leone's death at the end was heart-wrenching, but it kept me more immersed in the story because you can't have a revolution without an accurate dose of main character-deaths pathos.
I am even internally conflicted about whether I prefer the anime ending. The whole buildup and climax to Tatsumi's death alone was incredible. I want there to be a happy ending, but I feel like his death was very well done in the anime. I guess I'll just have my cake and eat it too, and call the anime ending my favorite but call the manga one canon.
P.S. To those salty about Chelsea's death, maybe she shouldn't have been wearing earmuffs (or headphones? Who cares) so she could actually hear someone coming up from behind.
More like words of worthlessness. To the weak, that is.
Do any of you seen the spinoff of the manga? I seen it and Kurome see phantoms and shadows of people she killed in that spring. Humph. She deserves worse than that, anyway.
It's not everyday to see people support a sick twisted psychopathtic excuse of a human being, anyway. Because it's so irrenvant, yet sad to do it.
Trust me, Hinowa ga Crush will fail ten million times, than its prequel.
If Akame gets killed in "Hinowa ga Crush", that's makes it more the reason to drop the manga, and burn it.
Still crazy, I see, huh?
Which is losing popularity.
I agree with you, however, any girl is better than Mine, in the anime, but the manga is completely ruined ever since...well you know.
They could have let sheele live and develop a relationship with tatsumi but no, the author killed her off for mine to get stronger.
Trust me, that's extremely sad. And I totally agree with you.
