After all hard work of the former, all that traveling through the country and forcing the latter to talk to people who complained about the Empire, taxes, corruption and violence, giving her reports and documents to read and make Akame realize how evil the regime is... I think it was the turning point of Akame's heel-face turn and her siding with the good guys.

In chapter 38 of Akame ga Kill Zero, Akame is sitting on a couch with the Oarburgh members and is subdued. Hands are seen reaching for her before the panel ends. When Akame is seen next, her hair is a mess, part of her top is undone, and her eyes are glazed over. It seems that she was sexually assaulted, but it is rather unclear.

I have noticed that akame has hints that she is bisexaul.
